Hey guys! JR service adviser in training from Oregon, here. We have a 2004 Expedition in our shop right now. Having issues with getting dying, getting fuel, etc.. Our techs have condemned the CJB. This is not the first time we have dealt with this, however this is the first time we were able to get parts that were yet to be made obsolete.
2004 X 6.8 v10. Garage is telling me that I need a new Central Junction box (fuse box under the steering wheel). Corroded from a leaking windshield. They are also telling me they can't find the replacement and Ford says it's discontinued. The part number is 13C7214A06 B. The 8th digit (A) is the VIN number of the part as I understand it. 1997-2006 Expedition & Navigator - central junction box needed - i am looking for a fuse box for a 04 expedition 4x4 traction control V-8 (5.4l) this one burnt up. why? i think ac condensation dripped down and shorted out the fuse (fuse 21) there is no repair of this one, it is fried down to the circuit board. need. Not sure if it was moved in a 01 but it was in later years and are obsolete.If its there and the truck is acting up , make sure the windowshield isnt leaking down into the gem or the fuse box.
