I'm using the AMD quarters and deck filler, Dynacorn for the outer wheel houses, floor & braces, trunk floor. They are superior to anything else. OPG isn't even in the equation for what I'm doing. I get parts directly from AMD and Dynacorn. I don't have an issue mixing and matching so long as it's not going to create a bigger issue than needed. I used mainly AMD on my build and I replaced every piece of sheet metal except the roof, doors, and rockers. I found that the AMD parts fit extremely well for aftermarket parts. All of the repro parts are going to need to be massaged a bit but AMD is far better than the others I have seen/used.
Goodmark, AMD, Dynacorn, Golden Legion, whatever aftermarket sheet metal are all coming from Taiwan anyway. For those who purchase NOS panels only, I hear that those panels are "left overs" from GM did not use because they did not align correctly. There are several different manufacturers over there who specialize in classic reproduction panels and whoever has the newest stamping tools is usually the best. AMD "premium" quarter panels are made using the newest stamping tools but I think they only have this designation for Camaros and a few other high-volume parts. The guy who started AMD is also the same guy that originally started Goodmark so many of the parts come from the same suppliers. They are DOT approved so there is that. Remember, when you cut off the old sheet metal it seems thicker than .
Goodmark panels are (generally) supplied by Golden Legion (DBA Classic Restoration Parts). OPGI retails Dynacorn (which are supposedly also Golden Legion stampings). AMD retails X-Parts and Tri-Plus (which are "designed" on CAD/CAM by Key Parts). The smaller sheetmetal that Sherman Parts retails are stamped in the USA. You don't want wrinkling seems or wavy surfaces, but due to the nature of the product it's bound to have an imperfection or two. Any panel you get will need "some" work. There is almost never a direct, worry-free fit. If you have the opportunity to pick up these parts, inspect the pieces before throwing the money down. I would really like to get some AMD panels from summit or whoever down in the states, but after the exchange rate, duty and shipping the costs are outrageous. I am trying to find things locally but no luck so far. I saw a dealer in canada dealing with these guys so I thought I would ask about the quality of their parts.

'66 parts: I bought a Dynacorn rear filler panel on-line. Fit pretty well. Recently, however, I bought some fender and quarter patch panels from True-Connections. Heavier gauge sheet metal than Dynacorn (which I like), not powder coated (don't care one way or the other), AND STAMPED RIGHT HERE IN THE U.S.A. (Which I couldn't believe). I have found that Trim Parts provides a quality part often exceeding NOS. Problem with NOS is many are left overs for a reason, ie. dents or other blemishes however its easier to fix a small dent then to change the shape of metal. I just recieved a inside rear view mirror from Cars and it is absolutely perfect and my new AMD bumper is really nice.
