Here's the wiring scheme i've come up with. I bought a very lightly used 6870 Di2 TT set up. There was also a drmreled hole under the BB to access the di2 4-way box (JC-41) and then we drilled a whole in the top of the seat post and put the Di2 EW-90B box there on a special mount that ziptied to the seat rails. There is no fat/muscle to blunt the force. The piece you see is actually an "eye iron." It is simply a cold piece of metal. That piece is applied and pressed into the swelling to minimize/reduce it. It literally "pushes" the swelling down. The cold helps, but the force is what really does the trick. Yes, it hurts like hell.
